I would pick Flash Map Pack, beacuse it's suprisingly EASIER than Prelude.. I never could finish Prelude, i had to cheat, but I managed to complete Flash Map Pack without any cheats... alteast once..

Prelude is simply harder, I only managed to frustrate myself with some of the puzzles. but to be honest, the end of the game is awesome I gotta admit I loved the last 2 chambers and I loved the finish, but boss fight was hell of uva harsh.

while Flash Map Pack, even difficult at first, it uses something people know, and after I figured a cheat to get over the the eletric area where it right under the goo, and had to rush to jump. It all became easier, also, there are an epic boss fight so that gets make cake

In short, I chose TFMP over PP

Prelude is not that hard, altough after chamber 16 it gets pretty tough.
Prelude is frustrating.
Prelude made serious mistakes like mixing easy chambers and hard ones (so its not easy at the beginning and hard at the end, its easy, then hard, then easy, easy, hard... )

yes they mix all and you get confused easily but if you r a lot of time in the same test the 2 guys that are seeing the test start to give some help. Anyway its still hard with the help of those two. and about the thing of chamber 16 and on. i think that the last chamber its pretty difficult!

another thing i haven t mention before. Portal TFV mappack never shows any cake. the only cake that shows to you its an hologram and when you try to take the cake 5 turrets appear and you get too confused.

Flash Map Pack

Hen is awesome and makes awesome shit

Prelude guys suck and Prelude wasnt hard it was just horribly made and didn't stick to any sort of gradual increase in difficulty.

TFV did not look good as Prelude, but TFV was better in gameplay. Hen was slobbish when he made the TFV but hes doing a better job with Nightmare House 2 as in looks.

i think your right perlude sucks when you see the gameplay. in all the tests you sense that your in a box and there are only 1 or two things that you can do. in portal TFV mappack you see that there are a thousand of different forms to complete each chamber

I disagree. I've always felt that it was of fairly good quality. The new elements, and timing of jumps (etc.) were some of my favorite parts of Portal. Besides, we have GLaDOS in Prelude. In the Flash Version Mappack, you only get her voice. (However, TFV gets points for having a boss battle-robot at the end).

I like Prelude more - it tells a story, which I really enjoyed and remembered for a loong time. TFV is ... ordinary. Final boss battle didn't make me remember it at all, I just didn't like it.

Poor guy =( We really need this secluded subforum for "Regulars" after all. Or maybe it already is, but I'm not initiated? Hope not.
